Q. How do I book a disco?
A. Contact Justin Addison using
details on the "contact" page with as much detail as possible about your occasion. You will then be sent a booking
pack with a playlist and 2 copies of the booking agreement (sign and
return one with the agreed booking fee, the other is for you to keep)
Q Will the price increase?
A. No, once the price is agreed it
will not change.
Q. How much do you charge?
A. This all depends on the size,
function type, times and venue - we always aim to be competitive but
although we are not the cheapest disco we are by no means the most
expensive. We have found that people who have booked cheap disco's have
usually found out the hard way why they were so cheap.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes we carry Public Liability
Insurance up to £2 million - most venues will require this to allow any
disco to play. Q. Is your
equipment safe? A. Yes,
it is PAT (safety) tested annually and all equipment is serviced
regularly. Q. What music
will you play? A. All
our music is indexed on a high spec laptop, songs range from 50's
through to the latest chart hits. Our collection is around the 7,000
mark at the moment but we are constantly adding to it. We will play
music deemed right for the occasion as our highly experienced DJ's will
be able to "read" the dance floor
Q. Do you play requests?
A. Yes, we will endeavour to play all
suitable requests if we possess them
Q. Can we bring our own songs?
A. You are welcome to bring any songs
although we prefer to send out a playlist so you can choose any
favourites before the event, should we not be in possession of any songs
we will do all we can to purchase them before the event. If you do bring
any music we can play MP3's from I-Pods, CD, USB memory stick or SD
Memory card. Q. Will the
DJ talk over the music?
A. No, we believe the music is the main part of any disco and although
our DJ's may introduce the occasional song, ask for requests and
announce any safety or special occasion requirements they will not talk
over the music Q. How far
will you travel? A. We
cover most of North & East Yorkshire and some areas of Lincolnshire. If
the venue is more than 10 miles away there may be additional costs for
travelling, however, this will be notified up front before the booking
fee is paid. Q. How will
the DJ dress? A. This
can vary with different occasions, for example most birthday disco's our
DJ will be dressed smart-casual, but for Wedding disco's a suit would be
more appropriate - let us know if you have any preferences - on theme
nights we like to take part in the atmosphere and may dress to suit
depending on your requirements.
Q. Have you got back-up equipment?
A. Yes we carry a few CD's in case
the laptop ever needs restarting (however this has never happened yet)
And also carry many spares so we are prepared for the unexpected.
Q. Do your DJ's have much
experience? A. The DJ at
your function will be a professional DJ and have at least 10 years
experience in the entertainment business. |
